Visual conditions in relation to ethnicity: focus on children and families
An important opportunity to gain knowledge and share practice in providing vision services to children, young people and families from black and other minority ethnic groups.
This one-day course is presented by key experts in the field, including: Lucy Butler, Consultant Ophthalmologist, Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre; Mark Johnson, Professor of Diversity in Health and Social Care, De Montfort University Leicester; Ashrafia Choudhury, Development Officer: Ethnic Minority Communities, SeeAbility; Sonal Rughani, Senior Service Advisor (Low Vision & Optometry), RNIB; and Sue Keil, Research Officer, RNIB.
It takes place on Friday 28 November in Birmingham and Wednesday 28 January in Bristol. Places cost £130.
